Azatrol- before or after cloning?

I'm on my second grow, in a new house. Just was messing around and germinated a few seeds. All died but one, which turned out to be a girl. As soon as I saw the signs, I threw her inside under my old 400w mh 18/6 to veg up (she stretched a lot during germination) She's too big to flower under my current setup (in process of building my 5x5x7.5 flower room under 1000w hps) so I'm ready to cut clones. I haven't noticed any bugs in particular, but my Hydro store guy gave me some really good remedies which he suggested to apply anyway as prevention. They are called Azatrol and Floramite. I think he said to spray the whole plant with one, then the other (4 days later), then clone (a few days after that)... then the clones *either right after cutting, or after rooted* should be dipped in the Azatrol, then four days later the Floramite... He also said to do this while in the dark. I just really need to clone now.. would it make much of a difference to clone now, wait till rooted, then do whole sequence on both mother and clones together?
