Hello all, I used to post here quite a bit back in the day, got the itch a few weeks ago and well here we are. I'm doing a little test, to see if it will work out, I love the plants and this is more for fun than anything. Right now I have 2 topanga bananas fem and 1 kelly maxwell reg seedlings around 2-3 days old outdoors in some plain Kelloggs organic plus potting mix. With another kelly maxwell cracked in soil waiting to pop. I live in subtropics and this is all just pretty much to see if the plants will have time to finish before revegging. If not no harm no foul, I'll keep them around to reveg if I can or at least snip a few clones. I didn't really plan on doing a grow journal because I was doubtful it would work out.
But enough talk! The genetics are Brisco's Bargain Beans from Dcseedexchange (first time for both and was a great experience, 3 days delivery 2/2 for topanga 2/3 for kelly germ rate.) As I said they're in the organic plus mix, but I have 1/2 Kelloggs 1/4 worm castings and some pearlite mix waiting for them, going to amend with biolive from down to earth, they will be transplanted to 3 gal fabric pots(to try and manage size)
Now it could be just me being overly cautious, but one of the topanga bananas is looking a little rough, not quite sure what it is, haven't watered since before they broke soil 2 days ago but the soil is still pretty wet, even tho it's been bright and sunny and they get around 10 hours or so of direct sunlight a day, any input and or advice is appreciated, apologies for the long winded post, will keep updates when there's stuff worth updating. Oh also relatively new to outdoor.
