Bad trip smoking weed?

Hi I'm new to this site, hope I'm posting in the right area. The other night I went to my neighbors to smoke a bit. I don't smoke that much honestly but I never pass up a chance to. Anyways, we smoked straight for about 10-15 minutes. I started feeling like I normally do when I smoke and I told him that was enough for me and I was done. Then I started feeling like I was going to puke. I got really light headed and I knew I was going to faint. I fell down and grabbed onto his leg and kept myself from blacking out completely. I started gaging and i puked a little but, not much though. I kept asking him if it was laced and he said no, he got it from a trusted dealer. After about 5 minutes I got the strength to stand up and start walking home. I though I was going deaf because of this loud buzzing/ringing in my ears, I could barely hear my friend talking to me. I would walk about 10 feet and fall over again. When I walked I felt like my feet were flailing all over the place. I couldn't walk straight and I would fall every 10 feet. I finally got to my back door and out of nowhere I had the strength to walk straight because my parents were still up. I went right to my room and laid on my bed. I felt so much better being safe at home, but the buzzing didn't stop and I started seeing faint colours, like rainbows in circles. It was so weird. Anyone else ever get this high?

sounds like you had a panic/anxiety attack because you were worried that you had smoked too much. If you had followed rules which apply to relaxing etc that regular sufferers of such anxiety episodes know how to '' bring themselves down '' , typically such marijuana related anxiety attacks are suffered by those who havnt smoked for weeks or even at all, they are usually combined with other drugs you might be using, most commonly alcohol. The attack spirals out of control because you are thrown into a blind panic thinking you are going to die etc, worries about money, maybe meeting other people and conversing when you feel you would be unable to hold a conversation with anyone etc etc. Sit down, if possible in a place with fresh air available have a cup of tea or coffee, learn to relax, try to see the funny side of things, usher optimistic thoughts into your head, banish negative thoughts, and things will quickly improve -----------in other words learn to chill out, with some personalities this can be difficult but you can teach yourself to do this.......good luck

Had (it seems) a similar experience to the OP once.
During the high i remembered advice very similar to what mister Baggins here has written.
After i started to relax and go with it. . . . lets just say i really enjoyed those rainbow colours of which you speak. :eyesmoke:

I usually do calm myself down. I calmed myself down when I finally got home and felt safe and was alone. And I did enjoy the colours after I realized I was just tripping out hard.

Thinking about it i actually had a friend once who would feel like this every time he smoked if he could see outdoors, even if there was any view possible through a crack in the curtains. Dude had to be in a room and forget there was anything outside the room to enjoy the smoke.
The mind can do some odd things.

First time I smoked some high end stuff I got so buzzed out I had to
chill for a bit.... Oh the good ole days...lmao

I smoked with my uncle once who is a non smoker, he thought he was gonna die.
I still laugh. It was too funny.

You greened out you wimp. Dont worry we have all been through it. When you smoke long enough this doesn't happen so enjoy it while you can.

the last few comments have made me actually laugh out lout, are you sure he didn't slip you some spice? that sounds like a very familiar experience I used to have just starting to smoke Spike Max. did things turn a little green? almost like out of the scene in training day? If that's the case, this cat is no light weight, Spike Max will have any Veteran smoker thinking he just smoked some PCP. I did.

The first time I smoked hash, I hot boxed with like four other people in a small ass tent. I was like "guys I'm gonna go get some fresh air".. walked out of the garage and then didn't know where I was. End up blacking out on the tent, came to leaning on the side of a car hood. Drank some water, sat in my car for 20 mins and drove home. Still stoned as fuck.

It's fucking TWO THOUSAND AND 13...fuckin Google already kids, get into every other site like it's crack, fuckin idiots.

Even though you got it from a reputable dealer; over ripened weed can make you feel sick as you described. Too much Amber in a strain that should be harvested cloudy can make you feel sick when smoked. Edit: If you are not used to a nasty couch lock high.

So, there I was in a bar. I went out back and took a few big hits off of a joint with a few others then went back in. Shortly I came back in and started feeling a little strange. Mind you I had only had maybe two drinks at most. I started to hear a ringing in my ears. My field of vision closed in... tunnel vision. I felt like laying down but it was a crowded bar, lying down would definately get me kicked out. I couldn't see the door. The fires of hell began to rage in my head. Deamons cried and my vision went black with swirling red. I existed, without a body yet somehow tortured for what seemed an eternity. When I came back to conciousness, I was still standing, there was puke everywhere and a bunch of angry people. I made my way to the bathroom to quickly wash up and then scampered off to the darkness to hide in shame. All from just a couple hits of pot.

Moral of the story. Sitting down on the floor with your head below your knees is less embarrasing than projectile vomiting.

It's called the blackout. Seen people fall over right in front of me.
