Ballast In Grow Room (Overheat)

in my last grow room i moved my ballast out and i never had a problem i was wondering in my new grow spot should i move my ballast to see if it would lower the temp i came back from chilling and it was 106 F

yeah ballasts get hot and will add additional heat to your grow room, 106 is pretty dam hot though you may have another issue on hand

Raise the back of the ballast from any surface, that should cool it by 5-10 degrees.

that is true my fan gets hot as the ballast because there kinda beside each other
, its pretty ventilated. i have a sealed door so that might be another reason but it needs to be sealed for light leakage
