i just bought two 1000w hps used the guy said they where 120v and rewired them to be 240v im just wondering what i need to do to revert them back to 120v
It should just be a transformer... 240V is English mains power, im guess in the US it's 120V? Well yeah, transformer. Dont cost that much. Shouldnt have anything to do with wiring.
240 = 2 legs of 120v. On the ballast I am assuming its a multi Volatage, it should have a few leads coming out of it, saying 120,240,277,480. rewire to 120 and WALLA.
