What's up everybody,

I have a small closet, 2feet deep by 4 wide (so 8sq.ft). Also bout 8 feet high. Walls are painted white, I have a 150watt hps and a 600watt hps.. What should I get to set up a small SOG in there? I would like to pack it with as many plants as possible, and also wondering how tall I should grow the plants (as to not blot out large portions of the light from each other)? Like what size pots, should I just get a bunch of 6"-8" plastic disposable pots, and a tray underneath for extra water from watering?

Any recommended soil mediums?

Have checked out a bunch of shit please don't ask for me to look more lol, just looking for some personal preferances here, I have 2 plants inthere now in 5 gallon buckets 37" and 35" tall.. But I want a shit load of smaller plants cuz I would honestly like to crop out more at harvest...

Any help, always plus rep cuz it's always greatly appreciated..

Forget soil! you want to maximize the efficiency in such a small space. Hydro grows faster, yields more, is more potent, and gives you tighter buds. Set up a simpledwc chamber thats close to the dimensions of the closet. Trust me, these are very easy, low maintenance systems, and grow super fast! You'll fit 8-12 plants in there, tightly spaced. I realy wouldnt use the 600 Watt light in there, it'll be a bitch trying to keep the temps down. But 150 is a little too weak. You might want to trade someone for at least a 250 maybe even 400W. Now make sure you get a good SOG strain - this is important if you want to maximize yield. I highly suggest Blueberry skunk, but you need to lollipop it. Other strains i recomend are White Widow, White Rhino, and my long time fave Tha Chronic - get them from Serious Seeds. Ventilate your closet well and keep the temps at 78, you'll be gold. Now give me rep

oh yeah, throw your plants into 12/12 either right after they root, or after a week of veg. 3-6 inches tall and they're ready. They'll grow to about 18". And make sure you grow all the same strain per grow. You really want to maintain an even canopy to maximize light efficiency. good luck - serious, go dwc, check roseman or illegalsmile for the best tips. It'll cost you less than $50 to set it up

SOG's are also strain dependant. For example, Ice is one of the strains I grow....would never work for a sog, it's all branches. White widow on the other hand is ideal.....will grow a fat single cola. Put into flower at 8-10" and strip the bottom third of branches during first and third week of flower,You have several options. Yield is certainly highest with a sog grow. Small containers...try 5" square pots. You could have a perpetual grow. Put 16 pots in one side for 4 weeks, then 16 more in the other side. Do that every month, shoot for at least a qtr oz a plant ( that should be easy).... 4 oz's each month. probably more, depending on how good of a grower you are. That is the way I do it in one of my flower rooms. You will have a lot of tweaking to do in order to max out your yield. Good luck, feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Ok buddy 1st thing ya need is to google " Mylar Emergency Blanket" You can get about 3 for 10 bucks with shipping that will probably cover your whole closet. They are like 8ft by 4ft and way cheaper than buying mylar in rolls. Also when u start flower plants will get 2 and 1/2 or 3 times taller so if ya want a round a 3 ft plant start flowering at 12 inches. Miracle gro potting mix works well for newbs. Cant go wrong unless you add nutes to the already fertilized soil.

here is what you do. get a mother plant or two ( keep these in soil). keep the mothers under a fluorescent light. all they need to do is stay in veg and alive. take clones from the mothers. a good way to grow these clones would be aeroponics. build or buy a aeroponic system that would fit in your grow space. once you take clones from the mother put them into the aero system for cloning. once the clones have a root system they can be put into flower. they do not need a veg phase. but if you want you could veg them to the height you desire. maybe a foot at the tallest and then put into flower. you could get yield after yield after yield and just keep the process going as long as you want. good luck man.

as for the number of plants may be 10-15 tops in an aero system.

if you want you could do SOG in soil. its the same idea. just set up a good cloning system. possibly get a aeroponic cloner or just go with a fish tank, rock wool and cloning gel. most SOG grows dont do a veg just because the clones dont need to mature and you are trying to get the maximum yield in the shortest amount of time possible. it wont be very hard at all. the smaller you keep your plants, the more you can fit in the grow space. if it were me i would just take the cuttings, root them and then go straight to flower. they will get taller even though they are in flower, probably double or triple height. you will figure this out no problem, its not complicated. remember its just fitting as many small plants in one area and then flowering them asap to get a quick yield.
