-Recently bought 2 pounds of bat guano to give to my girls.
-Was curious witch way was the best to apply it ?
-I can mix it in with my water or should I mix it into my existing soil around my plant ?
-If its best to mix in with my soil should I apply only to the surface of the soil or really mix it into the earth ?
-Thanks guys !

I use seabird guano, and i top dress it, crush it up real good and just put a nice layer on top of the soil, and let the rain saturate it into the soil, or if you want mix it with water but just be careful not to over do it and what i do is if i use it in water i wait to apply it until i know there's gonna be a good rain coming the next day or even that day. That's how i do it, but experiment with what you want.

Cheers and happy growing.

You can feed the plant either way...but you'll get very different results. A tea feed is an instant feed application. leaving little or no residual nourishment for the plant. An excellent way to head off a deficiency quickly and effectively. Top dressing or soil amendment with guano is a slow release feed, outstanding to nourish your plants over a 3-4 week period. Start slowly with your application and ramp up the strength slowly to learn what the particular strain will take.
