BC Seeds "special deal"

I got an email this morning from BC Seeds, offering free seeds with a purchase. Having been ripped off before by another Canadian seed company, I figured I would double check Green man's Seedbank Update (http://www.seedbankupdate.com/su.html). The company is listed in their rip off section so no matter how tempting the offer, I think I'll have to pass. If anyone has had good success buying from them please feel free to post here; I would not want to wrongly stain anyone's reputation. That being said, if they truly are a rip off, I want to get the word out.

Dude, its BCseeds. Their one of the most reputable companies.

Which site did you order from?
I had ordered from www.bcbudonline.com and got my order to the uk in 2.5-3 weeks. Admittedly was a bit worried after hearing bad reports about people being ripped off and posted about it yesterday in the "seed and strain review" section but lo and behold what arrived on my doorstep this morning.........13 BC God Bud seeds(1 extra for luck) so I would vouch for this website. Saying that though there seems to be alot of seed banks starting with BC, www.bcseeds.com, www.bcseedking.com etc etc.
To me a seed company contacting you with "special offers" is a bit fishy unless you have subscribed to a newsletter, which by the sounds of your post you have not and not even ordered from them.
I would stick to companies you have used before, sounds a bit fishy if you ask me

I got the same email I start to place an order with them but decided to go with another vendor..HMMMM. Makes a feller wonder.

Just followed your link to Greenmans seedbank update and couldn't stop laughing, I wouldn't trust this guy either, he's either very honest or very stupid as he seems to have rated himself in his own "ripp off" section as:

Well considering that BC is the holy meca of the pot world, it would only make sense to leverage the name "BC". They have one strain on there that I'm seriously wanting - even though it is through the roof expensive; it's the Elephant Bud; it's only $495 for 10 seeds, LOL. BUT, it's supposedly 34% THC and the yield is a whopping 1230 grams / m2. I was signed up for their newsletter but I've never bought from them before. $500 is a LOT of money to be sending off to someone. Bobby that's funny about his own site being listed in the rip off ones, LOL. Thanks for noticing that bro.

$500 is a HELL of alot to send off to anyone and if your unsure about the company then it would be sheer madness I think. Their claims are very impressive I agree but 34% THC is unheard of as far as i'm concerned, the highest recorded i've heard of is 24% from GreenHouse Alaskan Ice but please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

You know what they say Bobby, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". If I knew it was legit, I would pay the $500 for 10 seeds - IF it was 34% and got over 1200 grams.

Yeah, I want some Matanuska Thunderfuck: $240/10 beans from Dr. Greenthumb) and $330/10 beans from Sagmantha!; it's not even the real genetics. I also want some Canna Sutra (Delta 9 Labs) too but that's still a lot more than I think is reasonable - but it's still half or a third of what the MT sells for. I know people have to make a profit but geeeez... they polinate a single female plant, harvest maybe $1,000 worth of bud and $3,000 worth of seeds; I'm in the wrong damn business!

By the way, I have purchased from bcseeds twice. 4 strains. Fast emails, really fast shipping, and the best quality I have seen come out of canada....well ever. I used to use emery...at least with him you would get youre beans. Never ripped off, but since then terrible rip offs from the north. Would I pay this price if it were all it claims to be? In a freakin heartbeat! Do I think such genetics are possible? Absolutely! I mean I have seen pumpkins the size of a vw bug so..... But even with my good experience with bcseeds , I think I'll wait for some real reviews, which would be sure to come soon if this were this! 995 CAD or USD. Who the hells gona take that chance not to mention its gotta be cash in an envelope. Crypes guys!

I have coming to me within a week now,

Elephant Bud Purple from BC Seeds.

The envelope was received by them with no issues, yes very expensive seeds and i look forward to putting them fully to the test.

I'm not one for grow journals,

but that said, i will post a few pictures when they are big in flowering but most importantly for everyone i will answer and confirm if they live up to the name and more importantly the price!

Mainly i grow supergirl feminised which is a fantastic yeilding plant at a fraction of the price these BC seeds are. I have a genuine excitement to beat my own personal yeilds.

Hope i don't get many males......going to let them grow naturally no stress i want a strong un-stressed female mother so the clones will be 100% quality. And then onwards and upwards!
