Bean's 600w Blue Cheese closet grow!

Hey evryone I am starting my new grow of Blue Cheese !
So it is about my 10th grow however they have always been on small scale like this, never more than four plants because i cant get caught by the parents or anything But this is my first grow journal, i will update as often as possible as long as there is some interest


so the setup is:
600watt hps light
homemade drip system
all ghe nutrients
1 inch rockwool cubes transplanted into 3 inch cubes then placed in pots with clay pebbles.
they are fed for 1 - 2 minutes twice a day
the ec in currently at 0.7
the ph is at 5.9
the temperature is kep at around 28 c
the humidity is 50%

they will be vegged for 3-4 weeks then flowered for another 8-9 weeks

i plan on fimming/topping the plants at some stage probly abou 2.5 weeks

anyways i have plenty of pictures of all my equipment and nutrients

and the important pictures of the baby girls who will be massive trust me




this is plants day 1 (the day they sprouted)


And then we have today which is day 3


so im pretty happy so far, this has the makings of a great grow

Are you growing in your bedroom? If so, how do you sleep with the sound of the fans always running?

i turn d fans off when d lights go off for 6 hours from 1am til 7am so it doesnt bother me at all

subbed cant wait to see these grow, thinking of growing the same strain, im growing in my bedroom 2 with my family not knowing i learn to sleep tru the noise of the fan gd luck man

and i heard it better to keep fans on 24/7 bro but if ur way is working then dont fix what aint broken

I'd leave fans on 24/7 to help them build strength in the stalk. What are you using as a rez or do the roots grow out into the open? If roots get exposed to the light then you could have problems. Either way, good luck and happy growing!

thanks il try to have them on all the time so. the roots are in rockwool and covered with clay pebles now

this is my res sitting in front of the plants , i need to put a cover on it, the inside is now lined with reflective material from my local grow shop

The roots will never hit the water drip til the end
The root mass will be kept in d pot

So your not doing a DWC and your roots will grow thru the rockwool and into the hydroton and then stay in the black pot? If that is the case then how are the roots gonna get air to breathe and why have the rez with bubbling water if the roots are not gonna hit the water? Maybe I am not understanding your concept but my roots are much too big to ever fit in anything that small but I will see how your grow progresses and maybe I will get a better understanding. You seem to have it under control though, Good Luck!

thanks alot!
its just a drip system where the plants are fed twice daily and the roots fill the rockwool then expand further down through the pebbles eventually, 2 weeks of growth and it wil all be clear
but i dno how clear you can see with the weed ur smokin!

so guys week 1 has been dragged out cause im doing exams for college. but the thoughts of coming back to my plants keeps me so happy

i tied them all down to the side to begin the training

No iv been doin hydro for a while it gets way better results, is there something you recomend ?
