Beans Gone Bad

Stopped growing in 04 but felt good because I had 42 different varieties of hybrids, f2s of mucho seeds. Well, over the last few months, I have tried to get any of them to pop to no avail. I stored them in envelopes in a file cabinet under room temps. I mean I have tried thousands of these babies and not one will go. Didn't realize they went bad so easily. My favorite strain was Apollo 13 which I had about a dozen crosses of as well as F2s and couldn't get even one to crack. Anyone else had problems with seed storage?

best way to do it is in a craft box or a small enough tackle box with either rice or cotton puffs to keep em dry and keep em in the fridge

They won't root after 7 years of poor storage, next time put them in the fridge and avoid humidity.

the storage didn't sound great, but surprised you can't get few to pop
some should pop from other experiences i've read, you may want to try a bit of abrasion on the seed coat, and be patient
