Beans!! Last Ditch Effort to continue strain

I'm close to the end of my girls life cycle. Today I'm at day 60 and it looks as if my girl still needs a week or so before she is ready to be harvested. 3 days ago I was looking through her and I saw 3 little seeds at the lowest branch on a popcorn bud..but didn't notice any others. Tonight I went in there and notice a couple here and there.. I know strains do this in a last ditch effort at the end of their life cycle to continue strain but how many seeds is normal?? Ive only noticed about 6 or 7 but then I started to get nervous and looked in a few buds and I kept freaking out thinking maybe those are bundles of seeds or maybe there just little calyx resin deal or..?? who knows... Any pointers would be awesome.. She still has white hairs and isnt ready to be cut...Do I need to cut her down because of the seeds shes throwing or do I let her finish for a week or so?

Let her finish. You will have seeds but also better smoke. It's to late to do anything eles at this point. Just bleach the room befor you put your next crop in there.

You are mistaken your plant is a hermie. Seeds don't just happen, they happen when your female flower is pollinated by a male flower, assuming you don't keep a male plant then your female plant must have male flowers making her a filthy hermie

Bummer,I wonder where it all went wrong. After looking through her, only found 7 seeds and nothing else.. Crazy cuz a while back a white widow went hermie and there were seed pods and seeds all over, you could totally tell it was hermie but this one has 7 seeds in a huge plant at day 61 in flower. If she is hermie why is there so little seeds? Bum deal

it happens sometimes.. with only 7 seeds it wont affect potency. like Warlock said, just let her finish, and enjoy your smoke and feminised seeds :-)

is it true when pollen gets wet it no longer can pollinate anything?? Bleaching the room is just as easy I suppose but was wondering if fogging the room with water sprayer would work?? or just stick to bleach haha
Thanks for replies

Well really spraying the room down will cut down on the pollen floating around, but if you already have seeds the damage is done...seeds take weeks to develop...so it is too late...the pollination has occurred...and are you even sure that what you are looking at is seeds, and not just swollen calyxes?

i was meaning before putting any new girls in there. And yea they were seeds. but nothing in a bundle just like 1 almost mature seed popping out of bud but no pods..then i would look close inside the bud and didnt any more seeds. At first I thought maybe there was little seed pods when looking through bud but I think it was swollen calyxes b/c they they had hairs coming out,not like how seed pods look. But this all started a couple days ago when I was looking down at the little tiny popcorn nugs and I noticed a seed..its was the bottom lowest middle nug and then I noticed it had 3 little seeds in it...I thought it was weird and looked all over to see if any other seeds but didnt notice any. Next night after really looking through it there were just a couple but they were all single seeds by themself on a bud here or there, but were talking a total of 7 seeds. Better luck next time i suppose
cheers

6 or 7 seeds is no harm done was prolly just a little pollen from your last hermie, if so feminzed unique hybrid seeds

It's funny that a hermie will only purduce hermie seeds here on riu but to make femmed seeds u must hermie the plant and pollinated it with its own pollen. But many people here insist a hermie will only purduce hermies Wtf I love me a good batch of hermie seeds.

they wont be feminised seed they will most likley all hermi jus like the plant you took the seeds off of

Female cannabis will throw pollen sacs if left unpollenated as a survival mechanism to ensure pollenation at the end of the lifecycle. Doesn't always happen, I'm told, but it happens more often than not.

People are so worried about herms. The truth is any seeds you get will be fem. But the weaker your genetics or the farther you are from original plant.( clone of a clone) the more chance you have of a herm.

If a plant has hermied due to age it is overripe and stressed because of it. It is still a hermie end off perhaps you misunderstand the word

haha so...when I asked earlier about "last ditch effort to continue strain" in this post People said no and even said my plant was nothing but a flithy hermie but the guy with the most post on here "jack herer" just proved my point. Its funny how Ive been researching for 4 months now and reading like crazy but you post a question and some people just jump on to give you crap information that obviously they dont know. Thank you jack herer for making me feel like not such an idiot when I put up this post and asked about last ditch effort.
