Beards

I have recently discovered the joy(lazinezz) of growing a full on caveman beard. No trimming at all, except around the upper lip - I gotta eat. Just wondered to what extent my fellow RIUians had taken this.
What is the longest, thickest, most seriously outrageously crazy long as fuck beard you got?
More importantly, how do you feel about it? It seems that there is a stigma gainst beards. Should they be allowed? Who should decide if the face you see has a beard? The owner? Some other asshole? This is what I want to know.

I once went a year without shaving on a bet with a friend. The bet was 6 months. I enjoyed it so I kept it. All cleaned up now.

i have had a pretty long beard.. but nothing that i could braid and hang shit from. mostly gets really puffy - and if you dont shampoo and condition then it can get unpleasantly odorous.
I keep it all clean now.. no scruff. My next thing is going to be mustaches.. I really have to work on my mustache.

yeah I was called jesus too lol :). Mostly when I was a teenager though. Im growing my hair out too, soon. i think my beard grew about 1/2-3/4 of an inch in one month! i hate having to shave pretty much everyday

++ it seems like girls were more interested when I had longer hair and facial hair.... idk, was either that or it was because I was taken and confident lol. Broke up and cut my hair, and now girls dont seem to want to flirt as much idk,.

not like I have anyone special to impress;)

sadly my beard mostly takes residence under my chin, and on the sides. so i shave, but i grew my hair out pretty damn long these last 3 yrs. My GF and I braid my hair around by chin/nose to look like a beard, its pretty damn epic.

I have a full beard. And yes every man with a full beard will be called Jesus. But that's only because people are in awe of us Beards. If facial-hair growth is genetics, and God made man in his image, and Jesus/Santa have full beards, then it only stands that the men that can grow nice full beards are God's A-Team. God's beard pitty's the fool.
I say this because it explains your issue. Girls like men with beards because we're mysterious deep people that act with the certainty of a saint. Of course women are drawn to it. If you want to see what measure of a man you are, give yourself 30 days. it'll change your life- and in a 3rd of the time it takes those 90day workout videos to do so.
My son asked me "If beards are all that is man, then why don't superheros have beards?"
A good question. The answer is, because it would be too much going on. ..and most superheros cant grow one. A beard is a mask for your face. 1/3-2/3's of your face is covered in hair. All you can see are glowing eyes and a mouth full of rage barreling down on you like stampede of terror and doom. A beard means you're already the man, why cover the eyes in a mask? ...and beards are like fingerprints- there's no way you couldn't figure out their true identity. Men with beards don't need masks because unlike superheros who have secret identities to protect their loved ones, Beards are at 100% all the time and actually can protect them. As far as mixing a beard with a mask...If you doubt me, grow/wear a beard and take a pic of you with a batman mask on. It's ridiculous.
Facial hair is the privilege of every post-pubescent man, bestowed by their creator, as a sign to the world that you are a chosen leader. Only men can lead men, and 'God makes men who they are'[Braveheart], and if William Wallace said it... Also note: Wallace didn't have a beard, so he led the battles, but left the right of King and true leading to a facial-haired man- who accomplished Wallace's goals for him after he died. yeah.
Facial hair makes things happen and can help explain all life's mysteries. God- beard. Jesus- beard. Santa- beard. Lincoln- beard. Einstein- Mustache. All great men who changed the world were lead to do so by virtue of facial hair. If you want to do great things but can't grow a single style of facial hair- I'm sorry, it won't work out, God has other plans for you. Go ask a beard for help. Sorry...
