One week ago today, I purchased some clones to place outside, save for one for a waterfarm.
She is supposed to be larry og, in rockwool, looked alot healthier the day I bought her. Nice chubby roots poking out of the cube.
The clay pebbles are rinsed and ph treated. 300 watt diamond series LED 24" above. Room temp averages 75 F, humidity averages 50%.
My issues here seem to be slow growth, balling up of the leaves, black/purplish tips on the rather small fan leaves. All manifested after I brought her home and poured my nutes over whatever was already in the cube, without any consideration...
Using the Cyco line of nutrients, I started with an ec of .5 (about 30% of what is recommended) in RO water, ph'd to just under 6. I was hand watering twice a day, for the first few days, not thinking much of checking ec, just watching ph. Checked ec at the end of day 3, it had jumped to 1.2ish. Oops. Did a little research on the interweb and came to the conclusion that a flush would likely prove beneficial. Flushed the clay pebbles and cube with RO until water coming out of the blue drainage tube has an ec of 0. Been watering twice a day with unadjusted RO water for over 3 days now.There has been about 1.5 cm of new growth coming of the top in this time, seems slow. This new leaf growing looks like it wants to ball up as well. Moved away some of the clay pebbles to get a look at the roots. The roots that were poking out at purchase have grown 3 to 4 inches, are bright white and have numerous little white side roots.
So I am kind of at a loss as to what to do from here. Growth is slow. Roots look ok, leaves don't. Approaching 4 days of no nutes. What would you do now? Thanks for any help.
