Before Flowering Question

Little question. My plants are on 24/0 veg time with cfls and plan on switching to flower tomorrow. Will be moving them to a new room (tent) and will be using an hps light. So should I start it with 12 hours of dark since it's on 24/0 or start with 12 hours of hps lighting?

its up to you,keep in mind plants DBL or even triple in size when on the 12/12

now that i'm thinking about it by the time i get home from school and set it all up the plants will probably get 3 hours of HPS light then 12 hours of darkness. (trying to keep my 12/12 to midnight to noon)

That won't stress them too much will it?

yeah, put them into 12 hrs darkness and then switch on your hps light after the dark period. remember heat issues are also part of using hps.

ya i got a 300cfm or so inline fan too hookup to my cooltube and a carbon scrubber though its been used for about 5-6 months so hopefully doesnt need refill heh
