Beginners growing question

Thanks in advance to all who reply and help! seeds are just starting to sprout. some of them look like they are stretching to get to the light. i have the flourescent light set up just about 6 inches over them. alot of them have green leaves it just scares me that they look stressed. are there any definite signs this early i am doing something wrong or as long as they are growing and green i am ok?

If they look healthy they probably are. If they are stretching you probably need more light, and perhaps a little closer.

get the lights as close as you possibly can. what kind of setup do you have?
