Beneficial Tea Question

Hi guys, I just brewed my first batch of beneficial tea with Aquashield, EWC and ZHO and molasses. My question is, can you leave the bubblers run longer without changing water? I was hoping to be able to leave them running two weeks now instead of one. Would this be safe or would I be venturing into risky territory?

For single buckets 1 week is ideal. But I regularly push 2 weeks with rarely a problem

When your plants are young, you can get away with that. Later on, your plants will probably empty your res for you in a week

Yea, I noticed the buckets would start having that fish tank smell in them after a week when they were just starting. Now, all I smell after a week are nice healthy white roots, it's like an earthy potato smell. I think I will change it every 10 days or so now. Thanks for the input, this is my first DWC grow.

How long you run without dumping nutrient solution is not a factor in pythium prevention, however your benificial bacteria population should be replenished every 3 - 4 days imo. Nutrient exhaustion is the reason to dump a res. I have reservoirs, albeit large ones, that run for 60 - 75 days w/o dumping.
