Best 200W LED? Stealth Closet Grow.

I'm leaning towards an organic soil grow with a super soil recipe
inside of a GrowLab GL60 tent. Roughly (2' x 2' x 5')

I want one nice plant for the space. It's about 3.9 sq. feet.

I was going to get an HID 250w but now I'm interested in a 200w LED.

They're more expensive but I've looked at :

Diamond Series

and

the Solar Flare

http://californialightworks.com/Buy.htm

Would this be efficient for the sq. feet and which 200W LED is more highly recommended? Any idea how much of a yield I might expect?
Hopefully I can manage a qp.

when I was running my 200w diamond series in a bit smaller space than 2x3, with 2 plants in 3g smart pots, I was averaging a qp no problem. It's a good light. Can't speak from first hand experience on the solar flare, but I do feel like they are good units. Either one will do you well, I'm sure. Good luck.

I`ve seen great results from both in many grows. I have a 2 x 2 x 4 cabinet and I`m debating the same lights and the Progrow 260 from hydroponics hut.

After seeing the 200W solaflare I believe that is the one I will be going with. the advantage of the solarflare is the 5W diodes which offer a lot of penetration. But it's around 20W less than the DS200 and only has 120 degree optics. From reading I think the DS200 has a mix of 30, 60 and 90 degree lenses. I'm reading a great journal with the DS100 and this light can make some pretty dank budz! :P

Also with the solarflare, you will get full coverage of your 2 x 2 area at like 6-10'' from canopy thanks to the 120* optics and you probably don't lose to much light since they are 5 watters... ( I've mocked up a light and measured the angles in my cabinet haha)

with the DS200 you might need to place the light higher because it has narrower lenses... Didn't measure it yet...

ALSO! (almost forgot this very important detail!!!)

California light works is having 20% off everything for the month of october! so you would get the 200W solarflare at 360$ instead of 450$.
So you would get the 200W unit at almost the price of the DS100!!

Wow that's a pretty good deal I'm interested in the sat flare for sure- would you need to replace LEDS in the future? An HID you just change the bulb but how would you keep up with the LED?

you use them hopefully for 50000hours and then at this point I am sure you could keep the casing and replace the diodes / fans / ...

50000 hours is more than 10 years if you only use the light 12/12 , if the light is not paid for at this point I dont know what to tell you :)
