Best lighting for Flowering

Hey guys I have a 600w ballast and a 400w ballast. I was wondering if I should do all 1000 watt's HPS for flowering or 600w HPS and 400w MH. Which would work best?

1000watt HPS over the two light set up
Sorry bro wrong. 2 light sources will beat 1 light source any day.

You get more lumens you can mix spectrums, and you get less heat than with the 1000 watt, and you can get your lights closer to your plants.

A 600 watt hps is the most efficient for lumen/watt ratio. It beats all.

Sorry not trying to sound like a ass but I want the right information out their.

Wrong again for the most part. First off it depends on many factors, which would be best 1 light or 2.
Second 2 lights(each putiing out 90,000 lumens) combined still only put out 90,000 lumens.
3rd 2 600 watt lights will put out more heat than a single 1000. If not were did the heat go from the additional 200 watts off electricity the 2-600s use? The 400 and 600 together will be comparable to a single 1000.

I have a veg room and a flower room, each room is 1000 watts of light. Veg room 600mh than 400 watts of 2700k cfl's 13-26 watters.
Flower room , 600 hps 350 watts of 5000k-6500k spectum cfl's and 2x 32 watt T8 5000k

big light in middle, and cfl's all around the sides.

so i have 2 1000 watt dual spectum rooms

Here some more info for you if you want to learn something?

Q. What is the most efficient lamp to operate?
A. The 600 watt HPS is the most efficient High Intensity Discharge lamp to operate to date. It has the highest lumen per watt ratio of any of the HID lamps on the market.

Wrong yourself. Lumens do indeed add up. There's a stickied thread about it here with proof from a light meter.
