Best Material For A Grow Box

I'm tryin to put together a grow box just because it seems like it'd be easier to regulate the smell. So in a couple of days I'm gonna go down to lowe's and pick up some stuff to build my own box. Sizewise, it'll be 60" wide, 30" deep, and 72" tall. I'll be using a 400w HPS for light, and although I'm sort of unclear on how the ventilation will work, I want to use a DIY carbon filter. Materialswise, I need something that won't get moldy if it gets wet, something that won't allow light through it, and something that won't burn if it gets too hot. What do most people use? Also, I'm kind of confused on how to hook up computer fans to a power source, what kind of adapter does that require?

use a closet or try to make one, and put in a fan and extractor fan . i use two closets one smaller one for vegg. and a double one for 12/12 .
