I calibrated my 3 ph meters for hydro and they read 5.8, 6.1, and 6.3 somehow... I need a very reliable ph meter that will last me a few years instead of these pos chinese ones that last 6 months.

My apera is accurate, but I think it was $39. When it dies I'll get a bluelab, accurate instruments are important.
My Bluelab finally started acting up after 5 years of use and abuse. The thermometer is giving me really low readings, which I'm sure is throwing off the PH. But whatever, it was definitely worth the money.

pH drops from GH, started using drops as a back up to make sure pH meter was still calobrated correctly. Soon realized that the drops were easier, quicker and accurate. Once you know the color range your plants like it is easy to keep in proper range. All my pH meters went into the trash once I realized this, still have a ppm meter though and it has not needed calibration since I opened it new 4 years ago.
