Uh oh. Those kits come with live spawn. Definitely a no no in the US. And probably Ca. And they are still pretty pricey for low end materials.

so just picking fresh shrooms? thats no good because bacteria can grow on them which can easily kill you and the risk of look a likes, i was wondering the same thing myself, the extra cash is worth the convenience of the grow kit.

is it weird i kind of like the taste and chewiness of cubenuis?

no thats the grey area lol, im not sure which sites to trust since a google search gives plenty of conflicting answers. but every site so far has said the spawn is legal, again in canada at least.
and lol yes i think its very weird lol, theyre gross! like terrible! fucking hate the taste!

what kind of shrooms? and yeah the taste is pretty bad when your eating big mouth fulls now that i think about it but it was never hard to get down, didn't bother me when i was drunk and stoned though, god that was a good night, i need more psychs but so fucking hard to get.

floor textures haven't looked the same since, that part fucking bothers me.

not sure of names, one was golden teachers or something i think, but ive had blue caps and even black caps which were most intense, ive also heard some blacks are dangerous, dont remember where i heard it tho
i did acid recently for a first time, that is something i would reccomend to everyone, what an eye opener! be aware tho once you break through the matrix the boundaries start overlapping!

shrooms is waaaaay more mind opening, eat a bunch and go for a walk! i'll never forget the windy night i was on shrooms, fucking amazing

acid is more relaxed and hysterically funny

Not cheap that's for sure. Looks interesting though. Curious as to what the species they've chosen is like and curious as to what kind of yields come. I might buy one to fuck around with it - I've been meaning to get some going anyway.

Some guy in the review section posted the 'mega' kit which looks like a 3x2ft plastic storage container + what you need yields about a lb.

Of course, always about a lb.

ive tried it scratch and its not very fun at all. ill fork up the extra couple bucks for convenience. also anywhere that sells the supplies is gunna cost me at least 20 in gas plus materials and mason jars ( fuckin rediculous price for glass jars, lids most expensive for some reason.theres another 20, brf is dirt cheap but still 5 bucks or so if you want to do a decent harvest, and vermiculite another 10ish. i know they use straw and worm casting which i hear is even better. then another 20 for the spores.also the spawn gives you a 2 week headstart or something, dont have to wait for colinization. so so far i am looking at 55 bucks plus tax. probably forgetting something right now but kit being 20 percent off helps too. looking at a 30 dollar mark up after shipping. i think its worth it but that just my honest opinion.

i seen the mega grow mini they were getting up to 2 pounds wet soo, sounds like almost 50 grams dry? im good with that better than paying 70ish for a half o, thats if i get off good buddy, if you dont hav the hook up no problem selling em for 15 a gram.
