wheres the best place to have your dehumidifier to get the most out of it? Or at what height? Floor level? mid canopy? Or does it not matter, as i have one in and it isnt doing enough, humidity is hitting 60% at times which is not good for me as i am 3 weeks into flowering! Any advice guys?

I keep mine as high as I can, and not blowin on the plants .
Really in a closed room, it won’t matter where it is if it is big enough to control the humidity. But you don’t want the hot air blowing on the plants , & hot air rises so makes the most sense for keeping it elevated .

How big is the room?
How powerful is the dehuey?
Exhausting air from the grow area? To where?
Where does the fresh air coming in, come from?

Mine set on the ground in closed rooms. I also use a greenhouse thermostat switch, that turns on exhaust, and pulls in fresh, filtered, cold air to help the cooling in these colder months. In about a month all cooling units will be off and all cooling will be done by these thermostat exhaust switch's....RH in cold winter air is way low and my dehuey's almost stop working for the season.

I then have to run the high pressure booster pump on my RO unit to keep me in needed water amounts, daily...

If your exhausting the heat some way. You shouldn't be getting much RH build up.....UNLESS the room the grow draws air from is high RH.....
The source of your fresh air maybe where you need to control your RH first....

Its ment to cover an area of 269sq ft, but i dont think it does as it dosent seem to be taking that much water in.. im pulling out all the hot air and going straight into the loft where its cool and has plenty of small holes to let the air escape out of, for cool air i have small side vents where air comes in through. Btw this is a tent we are talking about, its size is 2.4 x 2.4 x 2m

Well if you mean by the side vents on the degumifier it only blows out cool air and it's currently on the floor next to my plants.. so its best to raise it?? And well its ment to be big enough for the tent im using but it just dosent seem to be taking enouh in

If the room the tent is in has any ventilation into it the de-humid. is pointless as moist air will always flow in and defeat you.

Is this why its doing nothing much and you think position might make a difference?

Right well the humidity is probably lower in the room the tent is in that the tent itself i feel like its because the plants are so bushy and that theyre taking in a lot of water daily and obviously that the dumid isnt working as well as it should.. so i thought perhaps the positioning isnt the best.. i dunno
