Best soil to use for indoor growing (Ireland)

hi there i am a little confused on which soil i should use for my first ever grow as i am a virgin grower, i was up in my local homebase today an was a little confused, i see bags of this and bags of that and most bags never had a ph reading on them, could anyone advise me what to buy, preferably someone from ireland or the uk as i hear a lot about this fox farm but cant be got over here...thanks!!!

personally i live to use SUNSHINE MIX #4, because there is nothing in it,, it reads a 0-0-0 on the bails,, so you can control everything that goes into your soil

Just out of curiousity when do you start with nutrients Werry. Do you give them a week or so or do you start from day one?
