Best strain suitable for Northern Illinois?

Hello everyone. I can tell I'm going to like it here. Reminds me of the days of OG.

Anyway I've decided I want to take advantage of the great outdoors.

The only issue is which strain would best fit my location. To be more specific I'm located north of Chicago.

Secondly which is the best place to get seeds from these days? I see that seedsdirect is gone but "seedboutique.com" seems to be ran by the same people? When I ordered from seedsdirect I remember everything was smooth, including free 10 pack of skunk and super fast shipping.

Any feedback appreciated!

Thanks

welcome! Check out the attitude seed bank. Some strains that will work for are Blue cheese, hollands hope, early girl, early pearl, early misty, early special, easy sativa, northern lights, Vlolator kush those are just some strains off the top of my head.

I just ordered and received my seeds from here:

http://www.worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com/

Ordered 1-30 - Received 2-7. Plain white slightly bubble wrapped envelope with only the ship t0 info on it. You can by single seeds. I ordered 3 - LSD and 2- Blue Cheese but I grow indoors and I'm experimenting with what I like. I'm about 400 miles south of you. Prices aren't that great but getting to me was the goal and I worked off a referral that worked. Attitude has a good rep from what I hear too.

Up north I would consider a plant designed for a short flowing period so they can finish before the frost. The one's crfhonda suggest should fit the bill but check both seedbanks for your favorite based on what you want like taste, high or stoned, average yields, THC level. If height isn't an issue then your options open up dramatically. Sativa is general tall and lanky where Indica is shorter and bushier. Many of the strains are combo to get a certain type or well rounded buzz. Hope this helps.
