Best way to harvest your plants?

What is the best way to cut off the leaves and all the other crap so you end up with just the bud? (Never done it before btw)

As for trimming, it seems that most just go with the standard scissors and sanity test. But I've seen the Aardvark trimming tool in action and it is beyond effecient. It runs pretty high up there, ($200 or even much higher) but after trimming by hand you really feel the end of an accomplishment with only the final test of patience and proper curing remaining. This link here is a wonderful project if you're semi knowledgeable in electrics.

I use trim scisors from garden store.They are ultra sharp very long and pointy to get right where you need to be. They make the autotrimmers but they hack the buds and shake alot of trich loose so they actually suck unless your doing commercial and dont give a shit then they do it fast

I like to trim off the fan leaves while the bud is still attached to the plant, otherwise if you cut it first then trim you may find that you want a third hand. After I cut off the fan leaves, I then trim down the leaves sticking out from the bud. If these leaves are full of trichs I leave them.

I use a small pair of Hydrofarm clippers. They work really nice. Your clippers will end up getting very sticky.
