Best way to set up inline fan/filter in my tent...

Seems to me there are a few ways to do this. I am purchasing a 6" inline fan with filter and an air cooled reflector. I was thinking I would duct the filter into the reflector and duct to a 6" flange and out to my fan. I could also blow off ducting all together and use bungee's to hang the fan/filter assembly. Or, I could duct from the reflector to the fan and out through the filter...what is the best option?

Most efficient way = Sucking air threw Carbon Filter into Air Cooled Hood and out of tent.

Carbon Filter --> Hood --> Fan --> Out of Tent
