BHO or Budder. Needs help deciding what hash to make.

Hey,
So it will be my first time making hash. I think im going to go the route of Butane Hash Oil.
I see conflicting opinions on making BHO or going the extra step and making budder. People say that budder reduces the flavor and thc level of the hash. If this is true than why do people even make budder in the first place. Are there any advantages to making budder rather than just BHO? also, how do you make your hash? If you don't use the BHO method than what do you use and why.

Ive been doing some more research since I open this thread. I really like the Vacuum purging, and come out with a nice liquid glass look. This looks like the way I want to go.

Vacuum purging is a must. You can whip before the purge for a nice "silly putty" result.

I don't think the thc level is reduced when you whip bho into budder. where did you read that?

Heres one guys opinion.

Definitely lose weight but gain potency with a whip and a few purges. I watched 5 grams go to 3.8 :O but I feel its has a better taste whipped up.

I LOOOOOVE my budder....but thats just me. once i whipped i never went back lol.

Same. I think budder is actually more potent in regards to thc % but who knows what actually gets you higher, but imo you smoke less butane or whatever the other 20% of weight you lose is.

Vacuum purging eliminates ALL residual 'tane.
