i have never used big bud before, also which gh nutes are you running exactly (that info is kinda needed lol). anyway i use the flora series with liquid kool bloom, flora nector, pro tekt, cal mag and dry kool bloom, now when you start getting into using additives you are going to start getting very proficient with math lol as you need to account for everything you are putting in the res, so what i did was accounted for full strength base nutes first then any additive such as the kool bloom (1-2 tsp per gal) i would subtract from the base to get around the same ppm as a end result (basically just spiking P-K). i would practice excellent base nute use before using any additives, i ran nothing but base nutes for quite some time before adding anything else. you can also refer to AN or GH's web sites for some help by researching there feeding schedules then you can make a few changes to it and run it your own way.
