Hey all I have some big bud that is at 60 days flowering and look like this. First ?? is maybe these aren't big bud. They are nice size but from what I have read they should be done by 9 weeks. These look like they have 10-14 days at least. I have looked at the trichomes with a loop and they look clear, and I have noticed that they are still producing them. Anyone have any ideas? Of course I have to just wait and let the plant do its thing but could this thing take 10-11 weeks? They are in FF and happy frog soil, full strength Tiger Bloom and misc bud enhancers used during flowering, I flushed them a couple times during their growth. I had some Blue Dream in the same room and it finished just fine.6254654654.jpg62356464.jpg

they have a bit man, at least 2 weeks probably more though. In this issue of High times it says they did some testing and peak THC was when "some of the trichs turn cloudy"..FYI, but you have a bit..Good luck JR

Thanks for the reply all. Yeah I read that article in High Times about Dr.Mahlberg, he aspirated a trichome gland and determined that the peak potency in cannabis is actually before they turn opaque or amber. *He claims* that just before the glands start getting milky is when THC is at its peak, who harvests fruit when its turning brown? I never wait til they turn brown anyway....just when they mostly get milky. But it is a point that with more scientific research we would know a little more about. So it's really a matter of preference, but a lovely ripe bud is a most addicting sight.629.jpg
