Bird seed containing weed seeds....

Hi guys

I recently went to my dads house and low and behold, there were 4 or 5 weed plants, all taller than 5 foot at the end of his garden, amongst other vines and stuff. He pointed them out to me, and said they grew from some bird seed that had been on the floor there.
Has anyone else heard of anything like this ? My dad isnt the type to grow weed, out in the open in his garden, let alone show me so I cant see any other way that it could of happened.

Also I'm pretty new to all this, is there anything that I can do with 1 plants worth of leaves? One of them was just going in to flower (I think) so I took that one, I would have come back after a few weeks to let them grow more but I'm not able to come back for 2 months.

So has anyone else heard of weed seeds being found in bird seed?
And is there anything I can do with the leaves or should i just chuck them

Its is industrial hemp plants.. You cant really get high off them..

But if the plants is left alone for a few seasons they will start to produce more and more thc..

Ive heard off this on a podcast from dopefiend.com, someone called mr buds growshop!
He grew alot back in the day from birdseed, although i dont know how good it was!

Yeh FrenzyBud is right, there's a health/alternative medicine shop in my town and they sell hemp seeds by the packet but I doubt they'll have many cannabinoids in if they are grown.

I guess its completely worthless then. Damn.
I'd like to grow my own, but don't have the resources to get a full room setup. Is it possible to just grow it in a pot in a dark cupboard or something and monitor light conditions or should I not botheR?

yep, U can find seeds in bird food, but those are most likely hemp I think.
