Black or white grow box base

I am in the process of setting up my grow boxes. Basically, there will be two setups (one for mothers, clones and veg and the other for flower). I am making them out of 2X4's for the structure and then I am making plywood tops and bases. I will be covering the base, top and side with a 6mil poly black/white liner. I know that the interior sides and top should be the white side of the liner, but should the base be white or black? I've heard different opinions, but no conclusive information...

I would think the white side showing so that reflection would be at its peak and it would be easier to spot cleanup, but others have said the reflection from the bottom is negligable and that a black base is better. Is either way better or does it not matter? Anyone have an opinion?

Thanks

Well having a white bottom would help keep the light at it's brightest, meaning the leaves would get more light for the veggin, but when flowering it would probably be better for to use black being that it's supposed to be COMPLETLY dark during that stage. Hope that helped a little.

I might not want to risk burning the underside of leaves..but that is a good ?... for me I'd just go black...nothing grows fron underside...IMO..
Luck with your set-up man..
