Blocking people

Is there any way to block people so they don't see your posts, threads, or profile?

I have this guy going through my profile, looking at all my posts and quoting me. He is an annoying prick. I want it to stop.

Get ahold of a Moderator Like Fdd or POTROAST or even Subcool. They will help you out brotha! I am not exactly sure how to do it myself or I would help ya out :)

If you view my profile you can see all the threads I have posted on. He is looking at all my recent ones and quoting me, being an annoying prick on every one.

Yeah, you can't find the "ignore" button? I've got two or three kids on my ignore list.. because they're just flat out annoying.

If you need help.. I could possible tell you how to find the ignore feature.. it is kinda hidden.. have to look for it to find it. But its available.

What does the ignore button do? Does it stop him from seeing my posts and everything?

If that function is the standard vB ignore....no it doesn't stop him from seeing anything of yours. It stops you from seeing his posts. Now if RIU has any mods running with the vB that change the behavior of ignore...it could be different. I'd give odds that it is just the standard ignore.

The buddy list is used to keep track of the friends you have made on this forum. By going to your "Open Buddy List" in "Quick Links" menu of the navbar, you'll be able to see which of your friends are currently online and send them a private message. Adding people to your buddy list also allows you to send private messages to multiple forum members at the same time. You may add any member of the forums to your buddy list by viewing their profile or by going to "Buddy / Ignore Lists" in your "User CP".

Ignore lists are used for those people whose messages you wish not to read. By adding someone to your ignore list, those messages posted by these individuals will be hidden when you read a thread.

Just go into "My rollitup" and edit privacy settings. You can set it so that only people on your friends list can see your posts.:weed:
