They are the same as GH PH calibration solutions at 4 and 7, just GH costs like 1/4 the price. I have blue labs and always goto calibrate it but its always spot on anyway.

Your right to a degree! But some cal at 4.1 some at 4.0 blue lab is 4.0
Yes you are correct. I'm using Genesis(Green Air) calibration solution. I look at the .1 difference like a rounding error. I don't push my pH level down to 5.6, so that tenth of a degree isn't too critical. The only LHS, and I've got three big ones near me, which carries Bluelab products only has the 4.0 solution in a combo pack which is somewhere around thirty bucks. Although online it seems you can purchase a case of just the BL 4.0 solution for a pretty good deal... I'm probably going to look into that!

So i have been using the genius line for couple weeks now and seems to calibrate the blue lab units faster,
Im pleased with it and not going to spend extra cash on blue lab salution

yea i got the blue lab ph meter i love it it costed $300 but its worth it and very accurate you can get blue lab products at monstergardens.com its by far one of my best online hydro stores... and when it comes to soulution stay consistant i use blue lab with blue lab products i tried the GH 7.0 cal solution and it didnt work correcttly in the part where it keeps the ph probe moist but when i use the solution blue lab gave me it was dead on perfect...so stay consistant..other than that good luck bro.
