well turned the ballast up to 400 and turned off one of the cfl's (tried this earlier in the week with 4 cfls and temps got close to 90)

So far the temps are staying mostly in the 77-79, which I must say is a huge improvement in the lighting and temperature markets.
Wondering if it made such a difference because the cfl is in the corner of a tight room underneath where the hps vents out some heat? I'd think so.

She's standing at just over 2 feet from soil now. Watch out for the big girl

when I came home from work today (about hour 9 of light) temps were between 80-82, but pretty sure that's just as the day got warmer. going to run 400w again tomorrow

I'd just feel better maxing out high 70s but no complaints, she's just skyrocketing up. light is almost at its' peak height

try and hold down some growth . or if you still got some veg time you could do do some topping

Nope! Full force ahead! Been in 12/12 for close to 2 weeks. I don't see a plant being too large a problem, just something I'll have to address when the time comes I suppose

cool, but if you wanna top you need time , so just factor that time in your finish time unless speed is not a problem

topped a month ago. i'm simple. 1 topping, little lst, touch of nutes in organic soil from seed and nice long veg periods to create that big healthy plant for flowering. Nothings a problem, just a relaxing hobby for me

Well today is day 16 of 12/12 and I must say she is growing nice and big.

I've read mixed reviews on Dinafem's Blue Widow, but so far I have zero complaints. She is strong, big, fast grower. Took to topping very well. I actually think multiple tops would have been the way to go but oh well. Showed sex within 3 days of 12/12. Very excited to see the final product, and have heard the horrors of the chemical smell she releases but so far at day 16 of flower with an almost 3' plant I have nearly no smell besides the one of fresh vegetation.

Photo shoot tomorrow, be excited

Day 25 of flower...should have thought about that trip i'm taking in mid june. regardless, she'll be chopped about 1 week before I leave to allow time to dry out and such. Moldy buds upon a return from that would make for even more devastation than just gambling away everything I had...

is that industrial lemon cleaner I smell?!....
yeah, the dinafem blue widow certainly smells like a lemon based cleaner. Just started noticing it in the past 48 hours, it's not that bad yet, actually I have to seek out the smell to find it..I'm sure that will change soon enough

Week 5 of flower begins today

-She's too big to take out of the closet, so I've put a baking tray under her for watering and she'll finish out her life in there and even though I'm bad at picture updates lately the rest will come from in there until CHOP! 1 more month boys and girls!

debating on the "final flush" but had good results on the last grow so I will probably do this 10 days out from chop. Also considering just stopping nutes and not flushing, letting the plant use it's remaining nutrients and that be that...
Also, 48-72hrs of dark before chop, I believe I will also do.

GROW ON brothers and sisters!
