I see new white hairs. 2 more weeks maybe.
theres your answer buddy.

those new white pistils are still quite young.

You should always go by the trich color.. so check those with your loupe.

Also, a general rule of thumb that I personally follow.. is that whenever I think mine are ready to harvest I give them one more week just to make sure that they're where I want them to be.

Also, a few other things to consider is.. I've noticed a lot of people around here that seem to harvest prematurely. This causes a lot of problems.. because the plant isn't ripe enough just yet. I'm talking about those of you who keep harvesting around the 6th or 7th week. I know some strains finish earlier than others.. especially 'Indica' dominant strains. However, for example.. I've seen/ and still am occasionally.. people around here harvesting, lets say an AK48 (according to breeder, strain takes 48 days to mature).. well people tend to immediately think that once they get theirs growing.. theirs will finish in exactly 48 days (give or take a few days).

This isn't always true.. and its because of this.. people tend to prematurely harvest their plant(s)... and then can't figure out why they're buds don't taste as right; as strong; doesn't smell like it should or as strongly as it should; and everything else. Well, this is your answer.

The breeders allotted 'flowering times' that they advertise per strain.. is how long it took them to grow it out when testing/producing the strain. But, you have to keep in mind that the breeders that sell these seeds.. are more than likely growing in an almost perfect growing environment and have very skilled growers in the back working and tending to the plants almost all the time.

For example, lets say.. the breeder you got your seeds from says the strain you bought from them takes 48 days to finish. Ok?
Lets say, their using 1,000watts of lighting; with environment controls; c02 injections; filtered air; perfect temps and humidity levels.

Now, consider your grow room/area environment.. temps; total wattage of lighting your using; humidity levels; etc... these are all variables that will effect how long your grow.. in your grow area.. will take. So again, when you compare and think about what setup your using.. compared to what their more than likely using.. you have to add 2 or 3 weeks.. possibly even 4 weeks to the breeders 'advertised flowering time' that they provide you with.

Just trying to help educate ;)

peace..

I'd say you're looking at another 1-2 weeks. My blueberry takes between 9-10 weeks to properly finish, and the difference in quality is vast with this strain. Let her finish properly, or you will not be happy with the product.
