Hello' and merry Christmas rollitup !

I'm a new grower that likes experimenting to find out for myself ' how to aventually dial in a grow and have a sweet run all the way through to harvest.

If I list a few of the problems I think I have , I would appreciate it if growers could confirm , on not ? Weather I'm right and if so what cause of action should I take?

1, nitrogen def
2, calmag def
3, stress from defoliating
4, over watering in 11L pots with 1.5L EVERY 3-4days (water/feed)(water/feed) repeate , to long between waterings/not enough nutrients
5, I have only been giving them just over half strength nutrients ORGANIC bottled IONIC range.

Here are a few pictures of 2 blueberry cross aka bluedream maybe? Not sure due to suspicious packaging the seeds came in. Anyway I veg them for 45days topping and lst from the 3rd week from sprout ' and didn't have any problems untill it was time for flower and I defoliated the girls 12 days in to flower to 1, slow down the potential stretch ' in my 2x2?
2, being a new grower I was told to do it at that point so I did lol
Day 17 flower 20161223_204425.jpg 20161225_084210.jpg 20161225_084200.jpg 20161225_084222.jpg 20161225_084205.jpg

Ph is 6.2 so I don't think ph is the problem and I'm in soil?

Also ' The leafs feel dry and shrunk , purple leave veins and steams?

Any advice what to do to fix these problems and the path i should take would be great.

I gave them a 3/4 bloom nutrient at 1/2 litre each yesterday and did notice a little colour come back in the leafs.

I'm a little unsure of how what to do help lol

Fuck they look decent, looks like they are screaming for cal mag to me, nitro is good you want to keep it low durring flower. What is your humidity running might be a little low for flower, dont shock the bitches with too much cal mag all at once to try and fix it, do it over a few feedings and let them dry the fuck out in between to the point where they are pulling off the sides. my 2 cents Merry Christmas !!!!!!!!!!! Merry crumb to you too bro !!

The humidity us around 35%&50%
I think I've defo not given enough call mag , my tap water is a ppm of 250 ppm so I do use calmag 'just 1ml per litre and I was giving the girls it once a week invetween feeds with there water? I was giving them 2 litre every 3 / 4 days in 11 litre pots under a lot of LED for a 2x2x5?
I'm starting a 1/2 litre every other day for a moment and see how thay get along? So you think they look ok yes ? Day 17 flower thay didn't stretch much for a bluedream variety 'but who cares weed is weed lol

Less strech is more bud time is all, plus more dense nuggys. Looking good yes. Whats your lighting setup? MD

I also have another plant under cfl , she has been veging for a MASSIVE 63 DAYS lol slow growth after the top two branches were snapped compleatly off when she was dropped whilst being transplanted , this one fell victim to heat stress yesterday also with temps hitting 38c for a few hours .
Ready to flip as soon as she is over her hot day lol ' well be hitting her with 125w 6500k & 250watt 2700k all in a 2x2x lol heat was a lssue so I threw a 4"carbon in for good measure20161225_084331.jpg

A few mars 300 and a 150 throwing 360 at the wall ' not the best by a long shot but I have pulled at least 2.5 to 3 zed of the 4 plants I have done in here

Not 4 at the same time thou ' 2 x 2 runs

Unless your going for stealth put a fan in front of the tent door for more intake air and open any ports up top you can to get more heat out the top, it gets trapped in the tops of those tents all the time.

Back of the hand method - if it burns the back of your hand it will burn the plants if not get the lights as close as you can on them. MD

OK Im no expert, but that looks like it could be one of 3 things.
1, (unlikley) a PH problem ask someone who knows about this problem as im an organic grower mainly and don't suffer this type of problem, but 6.2 sounds like its in the correct range & soil grown plants can deal with PH drift better then hydro grown plants.

2, A NPK ratio problem (ASK SOMEONE WITH KNOLLAGE OF THIS TYPE OF THING)

3, The other most likley to me at least problem is MAG DEF (cal/mag will solve that one), purple veins are a big givaway, this is a lesser nutrient def, (micro???) nutes(???) and not a main (macro??) or vice versa... NPK nute problem. Main NPK problems tend to start on outer/older leaves. ie:- like yellowing of older leaves= not enough nitrogen or too much leads to leaf tip burn. ware as micro nutrient deficiencies tend to start in the center of the plants or in the newer growth.
Try giving them a good flush with water (rain water if you live in a not to poluted industreal area) and then use a seaweed solution to give them a nice all round injection of root boost,macro/micro nutes and everything else that it contains (this is also recomended for hydro grows too) seaweed concentrate solution is the dogs bollox for young plants and old. It can't be beaten for recouperating plants that have suffered from root burn, use " half strength and see how they are in 3 or 5 days. i think that should right any problems that r nutrient in nature.
but thats just my opinion, hope it helps rudi
