BONE DRY TO STICKITY ICKITY curing Question 4 You!

Ok my buds are not bone dry, sort of a spongy texture, they are dry through but when pinched they return to shape, I try to not do that a lot so I do not mess with my trichs. They have the dry consistency of any other bud you may see. But I am curious about a few things

Is how sticky your bud gets determined by the natural make up of the plant and strain or can you use jarring/burping/opening methods to promote a nice dry yet sticky jabhudda?

So I understand the idea of using fresh nugos or fan leaves to re-moisturize your curing buds, but when you do this process, does it elongate the curing time? To each their own on curing, but I am curious will this do anything else but re-dampen the bud. I have been curing for a few days now, maybe 4 and the buds are dry but not overly crispy. If I try to re-hydrate them a bit will it effect curing, curing time, stickiness, smell, trich stability and or the fragility? Obviously the curing process enhances taste, smell, potency, but will any be effected negatively by adding a bit more moisture to dryer buds. My buds are super crystal covered too. Thanks for any help guys

PEACE & LOVE
