Bottom Watering / Feeding

Hey, so I'm bottom watering a mature large female growing in 20litres, loads of colas and looking great,
she was starved for water while i was on holiday now shes drinking so much i'm not sure how much she wants to drink

i've watered her in excess of 1L today and shes just sucking up all the water from the bottom, the 20litre pot is standing in a larger pot.

can anyone recommend how I regulate this through flowering? plant is flowering late, shes already 4 months old and is at her full growth stage,
what are the risks of bottom watering and feeding and how much is a good amount to keep at the bottom?

I suppose I can let the plant tell me, but I want to include more nutes, i'm using GH Flora Grow low, light green solution...

how should I go about pumping the plant with nutes into flowering to get the best yield I can?

I have been tinkering with a similar idea for the final few weeks of flowering when your supposed to give em just water, well Ive been trying to find out if bottom feeding or wicking aerated water from a reservoir underneath would suffocate the roots from constantly being moist or cause rot. To control the level of moisture in the soil I was thinking that the type of medium and temps are the key, finding the right medium that will be moist but evaporate at a slower rate or covering the top of the soil with moss or cedar chip to slow down the evaporation. I dunno just future experiments of mine, I'm not one for Hydro but I am always trying to find ways to temporarily automate the room for times when I must go away for work.
