Branch, dead in the middle..

So i have this mother plant recently, i got her when shes 6 weeks old i think..
Grown in soil, and plain water used only so far

Now whats up with this branch??
I was planning to take cuttings but the top part of this affected branch is quite droopy
Any advice will be great guys

Do i need to pass a test or join some clique to get any help on this forum??? FFS
