Breeding project

Just started a breeding project indoor I flip my girls yesterday I have 12 plants outside that are going to go in to buding soon I will be breeding in a 4x4 tent it sits next to two windows I was planing on Intruduceing the male at week two but i am scared that the plants outside may get pollon on the
So if I keep my windows close and the day after I pollenate I spray everything down with water will this stop the pollen form spreding to the plants outside

there's no guarantee that you won't get some pollen in your hair or in some other way contaminate your plants, but yes, misting a room down is considered a good way to make pollen un-viable. heat will do it too. pollen is pretty fragile. a lot of things will destroy it.

if you want to be assured of even easier to manage pollen in the future, collect some in paper envelopes and store it in the freezer, but once you thaw it, that's that, so keep a few envelopes if you plan future breeding with your keeper male. then, you can just pollinate whatever you want with a little paint brush.

what are you breeding to what?

I have a chem valley kush male that has this funk coming off of it when you rub the stock I am going to breed to a purple erkle gdp sour d Sfv og reg og and a 98 og kush when should I intruduce the male

oh, so you'll be doing several crosses then. cool. looks like you really like chems & OGs. i can't stand diesels myself, though onyx has an awesome buzz.

good luck with your crosses. i'd expect them to be kind of similar based on what i imagine OG kush to be like. never tried it yet and wonder why people lose their minds over it. i'm going to test an OG wreck i think, just to see if i get a clue about either strain

hey buddy, i got cannabis grows bible out right now, u will just naturaly let the male do his thing and open his pollensacks. just stick him in with the bitches and he will get 2 makein love. after the pollen drops u can remove him, u can save pollen also and store it in the frezzer for up 2 a year. hope sum of that helps.

one of the members here told me to let the male pop off a few until it really starts pollenating before you use them. that might have been part of why i had low viability in my first real grow besides the early harvesting.

Natural pollination might be your best bet. Im gonna keep my eyes on this thread. Should be interesting
