Broken hygrometer?

I left my humidifier on high for a little too long in the grow tent with my seedlings last night and it got really wet in there. now my hygrometer is reading all wonky, switching back and forth between Celsius to Fahrenheit and the RH is just reading high and won’t go back down. It’s a pretty cheap little model, is it worth trying to fix or should I just chunk it?

I love my acurite wifi temp/humidity monitors. I can see charts on my PC/phone and I can get alerts when something goes above or below set points.

Thank you!!! I ended up ordering an actual humidity controller to hopefully avoid this problem in the future
