Brown roots over night....please help !!!!!!

OK so i have considered the little bit of roots i have to be very healthy untill this morning. need to know if what to do to correct this. H202? is there something i can get from the hydo store ? HERE ARE SOME DETAILS AND PICS thanks for the help , also what causes this so i dont let it happen agin ?,,,,,,

DIY RCDWC. REZ temps average 72 to 75 deg same as room temp in room. feeding AN grow, micro, bloom, GH cal/mag, and small amounts of super thrive

Your res temps are a lil too high. You can add a lil h202 evry cpl days and it will keep res clean and roots white. It could also be from some of the clay dust that wasnt completely rinsed off.

Do a h2o2 flush 3-4ml per gallon of the 33% from the hydro store, let that run for a few hours, then drain and redo your nutes, if your not running any beneficials in your Rez, I'd add a little to my next nute batch as well. You should also be in the 68 degree Rez temp area at all times...good luck. Keep in mind your roots will brown a little with nutrients like floraliscious plus and other Brown nutes. If its root rot, it should smell different than what your used to...

That looks exactly like what happens to my roots in hydroton. That reddish brown crap on the outside of the balls slowly dusts off and discolors your roots a bit. Like they said though, couldn't hurt to do a res swap and run some high concentration H2O2 for peace of mind.

Also, in looking at your pictures I see a bit of green on your roots. That's a sign of light leaking in your bucket, find that light source and cover it up asap! After you drain your Rez, do a 10% bleach to water solution and clean the fuck out of your bucket and pump and airstone.....make sure you rinse it all out.....get that light leak fixed NOW!

One of the problems I've seen with some rdwc systems is they have areas where water sits and is not properly circulated. Just an idea

ok so i changed the rez built a DIY water chiller ( untill i can buy a real one ) and got some FF micro brew, that stuff apeares to be working miracles my root mass has nearly doubled since i did all this , just wanted to say thanks to everybody who helped get me back on track

micro brew is the s#@%. Use that in conjunction with root drench and then you'll really see your roots have a mind of their own.

ya i am also using the root drench,,, the stuff is great. i have seen more root groth in 5 days than in the whole 3 1/2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
