Brown Spotting

Good evening. I figured while I look for answers, I'd ask the question. Does this look familiar. So far I've read about calcium deficiency and nutes over load.

I have been watering every other day and adding nutes every other watering with 1/4 teaspoon per gallon on flora nova grow.

I'm off to search more forums for "Brown Spots".

Check ph of water first, and monitor if you aren't already.

Soil or hydro? Can you put up a pic of the entire plant? What strain? Indoors/outdoors? The more info about the grow, the more these RUI guys/gals can help.

Peace!

I learned about the importance of pH last night. I'm going to get a soil tester today. My water pH is about 6.5.

I'm growing this De La Haze in soil. Inside under a 600 watt HPS.

I was told my my mentor that the pH probes you get art he hardware store are generally junk and not very accurate. How do you test soil pH? Just mix soil with water and test the solution?

First check your run-off and see what pH you have.

If you are measuring ph of your water, you don't need to test your soil. Soil is your buffer, you just have to worry about salt build-up. Measure your ph prior to watering (after you added nutes), 6.5 sounds good. I agree, every-other day for watering sounds too much. Wait until your containers are light (pick them up).

If you wanted to, just take a sample of your soil to your local nursery and they can test it.
