browning roots

In my bubbleponics system (24gallon)...
everytime my plants get about 3weeks into veg the roots start to brown. After they brown they stop growing and grow new roots to make up for the ones that browned. Im keeping my water level closer than I did before when this happened, However I did take the two plants and transfer them from 1 bubbleponics system (about 6gallons) to my bigger one (about 24 gallons). Do hydroponics plants not transfer well or something? my temps are good average about 77. water is not too cold or too hot. im using cfl's right now for veg. I dont know what else can be making them brown except for feeding... for 24 gallons im using advanced nutrients...im doing tsp / gallon and the box says (for vegetative) 1.54/ 1 gallon....24 x 1.54 = 36.96 tsp for micro and grow...bloom is .31/gallon....24 x .31 = 7.44 tsp

I dont know if thats too much but thats what I gave it. Also, should I let the water empty out completely or try to keep it at the same level? for instance, I put all these nuts in right, then I loose 4 gallons. I replace 4 gallons by filling a 1gallon jug and putting about 1tsp PH down in each gallon. I then fill the tank back up with the 4 gallons. There are still lots of nutes in the tank...should I replace the lost nutes by adding more..micro, grow and bloom? Or should I wait until I replace more water or something?????

I replace my reservoir every 7 days. I use R.O Water only, and I dump a few tablespoons in the 5 gallon R.O. container...then dump it in the rez.

By changing out every 7 days and adding H2O2 I keep bio growth down to a minimum. As my plants use nutrients and water...I replace with water only. Plants will use water a lot faster than nutrients, and if you notice the plants wanting more nutrients...you can start to add them. More is not better in this game. Take it slow...if you need more...add it, if you add too much, it can kill.
