Hey guys. First time grower here and I am stumped. I have 5 girls growing outdoors in the Midwest, no knowledge on strain as they were just for fun, to see what I could do. All 5 are in early flowering stage but one is just not like the others.
All stipules are browning on inside edges closest to stem, and my calyxes are curling into the stipules. There are very FEW white hairs and it appears any hairs coming out of calyx have a reddish brown tiny vs white. Majority of the new bud sites seem to be made up of stipules and leaves?? What's really got me is there are a few branches that are performing normally with bright white hairs and trichromes developing on the leaves. I should add there are trichomes developing in the discolored bud sites as well, just no hairs.
Thought maybe bugs, found some bright orange mites but turns out those are predatory mites so I want to keep those, lol. The plant looks healthy besides the bud sites. I'm really hoping someone can give me some ideas as to what is happening. I have inspected calyxes and she doesn't seem to be herming out, but I'm brand new to the game and perhaps I'm wrong??
