Thoughts?
I agree. The cannabis nutrient industry has done a great job of marketing watered down chemical salts and other inexpensive ingredients. They take a dimes worth of product, put it in a cool looking bottle with a fancy label and sell it for a thousand times what it cost. I just laugh at the people that think they need cannabis specific nutrients. Cannabis is just another plant. The Marijuana Problems section has plenty of examples of people spending astronomical amounts of money on overpriced products only to end up with crappy plants.imo any fert that targets cannabis , is over priced, the npk is always simular to what u can buy in any garden supplies, I refuse to spend $$ on fert coz it has a hooter leaf on the bottle, I think its all a big con , but each to there own
Agree on the base notes but what are your thoughts moving on past base with things such as amino acids to boost terp production?I agree. Calcium nitrate, monopotassium phosphate, and micronutrients are all that is needed to grow excellent healthy plants in any grow medium or growing method from soil to hydro when using chemical salt based nutrients. All of which can be had for pennies on the dollar compared to the same chemicals watered down and put in cool looking bottles and marketed to people that don't know any better. AN and all the other overpriced nutrient companies are more about marketing than anything else.
AN are great!I think AN is a good nutrient line but all of the extras arent necessary. I just use micro grow bloom which cost 40 bucks for a liter of each and lasts the entire grow so I dont really consider that expensive.
I don't think they're necessary and doubt that they contribute to much of anything. Everything I grow smells and tastes great without them. Other factors contribute much more.Agree on the base notes but what are your thoughts moving on past base with things such as amino acids to boost terp production?
If the bottle says Advanced Nutrients on it, you're getting ripped off. PERIOD. These are the fucking clowns who charge $89.95 for a quart bottle of epsom salts in solution.Thoughts?
Questing for you and answer yes or no to if you have used any of the following:If the bottle says Advanced Nutrients on it, you're getting ripped off. PERIOD. These are the fucking clowns who charge $89.95 for a quart bottle of epsom salts in solution.
Jacks or Chem Gro, both are commercial greenhouse grade dry nutrient salts for hydroponics. You'll save a shocking amount of money for exactly the same nutrients and you'll know a lot more about what you're actually feeding your plants.
Word to the wise; if it's a nute in a bottle, you're paying too much.
Ok so let's have your opinion about which ones work best and why.Questing for you and answer yes or no to if you have used any of the following:
Ionic?
Flora Nova?
Botanicare Pure Blend Pro?
Master Blend 4-18-38?
Hydro-Gardens 4-18-38?
Peters Professional 5-11-26?
Please STOP saying that all nutrients are the "SAME" - they are not and I can assure there is notable difference in your crop with each of the products I have mentioned above
