Bud inside carbon filter?

Hey

This is just a random idea I had, I don't plan on doing it, not unless it works and I needed to.
I was wondering if bud could be transported in a carbon filter with the ducting part sealed, and there be no smell?

Or does the air need to be pulled though for it to work?

Thanks.

Take a carbon filter, fill it up with weed, seal off the open ducting. Essentially a big metal bag of weed with a carbon filter wrapped around it absorbing smells.

Stands to reason that if you seal it correctly it shouldn't smell, the weed molecules will bond to the carbon as it tries to disperse. No idea if a dog would smell it, i'd guess yes, but for moving a pound or so around the place, in the boot of your car etc, could be good.
