Bud rot help

Not sure what to do here. I caused this problem myself by getting a little to crazy on the bud worm spraying and soaked the buds on friday. Today i noticed a few leaves curled in and dying and new right away i had a worm or rot. 5 plants appear fine but the the 1 closest to being done is were i found the rot. I checked very closely every bud and appears only2 have it so far. I cut those out and salvaged what i could. Pic 3 bud was 3 times this size and cut away all the brown and thats what i was left with. Pic 2 shows the brown mold on the inside of the buds along the stem. Pic 1 is a shot of the remaining buds. Its about 1 week out of harvest. I was orginally going to pull down next sunday but wondering if i shouldn't get a jump on it now and do today to prevent any more rot. Need some help plz as so far in this grow first time i have been really uncertain. I also learned a huge lesson about spraying next year hudson fogger for me. Any advice is greatly appreciated

it might not even be mold. just helped a friend harvest, he had a single bud worm on a main cola that knawed through the stem and caused the top of the cola to die off. at first glance i too thought it was bud mold, but later realized it was brown from poor drying conditions and was completly smokable. so check and make sure it is what you think.
that said bud mold can spread fast and a plants resistance to it is genetic as well as situational. so check your other buds regularly.
i know that you can make BHO from moldy buds and the end product is uneffected, but i recenty read an article on here about water curing moldy buds, apperently you completly submerge the buds in tapwater for about two weeks, changing the water daily, this is supposed to wash away the mold and still give you reasonable quality smoke. though i will admit i have never tried it so i cannot attest to the results, so you should do your own resarch on water curing before trying it.

i use an organic method of fungus control;
milk. diluted with water, 1 part milk, 6-9 parts water.
yup. nothing special, just plain old milk. i use 2% although i dont think it matters much.
apply as a foliar feed, it raises the PH of the leafs surface, making it alot harder for mold spores to grow.
also great for controlling Powdery Mildew.

If the rest of that plant is pretty much done, I'd go ahead and cut it down, especially if the other buds are really thick.
