Bud rot

Harvesting my buds and I see this mold like substance in some of my buds and kinda dark inside. I think it may be bud rot. I checked for mites but didn’t see any signs. If it is can I cut out the infected area dry the rest and still smoke. The attached photo is from just one of the buds

Yes, just take care to remove all affected parts

Yes, but i would wash them and inspect thoughly before they go on the drying rack
