budding issue?

Ok i have an unknown strain in flowering for 6weeks after the pistils showed. Using 3 45w/150w= cfls and switched to t5 lighting using 4 4ft2700k bulbs. Vegged for 5weeks under 6500k t5 . Temps in veg 74-78. In flower temps are 78-84.lights were 4to6inches off the plant .im using advanced nutrients line of nutes with proper irrigation and nute/water ratio mainly using half strength formulea. Buds look way underdeveloped and sad looking. Soil is fox farm ocean blend. Any ideas welcomed20140716_060228.jpg 20140716_060228.jpg 20140715_234736.jpg 20140716_060228.jpg 20140715_234736.jpg 20140716_060130.jpg 20140716_060228.jpg

how far off the tops are your lights? since your not using hps or mh. it takes a lot of cfl and t5s to equal the output. my veg t5 is 400 watts and that looks about right for a 400 watt grow.

Its about 3-4inches off the top.the Vegg state with the lighting worked perfect no issues .and the flower stage was great up till week 4. I noticed the trichs were growing in but looked light they were melting I guess and the hairs were turning orange, further bud growth stopped and that's when iv changed up the set up from 3 45w cfl and 3 23w cfl to one 46w cfl and the t5

wow wow wow ! Too much nitrogen in there .. toxicity level is really consistent ! You should start reducing nutes (or even stop them) and flush with ph'd water .. good luck

NoT sure on npk right now I'm at work but ill post it when I get off.dam I was afraid of nute burn and was and still in praying its not the case but oh well ill flush the crap outta it tonight .thanks for the info fellas

weak lighting, bad soil. I used fox farm soil for a year until i ran out, i hated every minute of it. my advice is switch to pro-mix or coco , get away from fox farm, i have had nothing but problems with there soil / nutes combos. i use pro mix and advanced nutes and hps/mh after my first 2 grows i was unhappy and HAD to upgrade. my only suggestion is after this grow its time to upgrade.

I had similar issues blooming under a 105w cfl and upgraded to a 400w hps. Cfl's are best used for veg only.

The ratio for GH bloom formula is 7-6-12.
